To all the kids out there: DON’T START SMOKING! I swear, this is the hardest thing in the world to quit. There are a lucky few out there, like my wife, who can just smoke now and then and seem to be totally immune to the addictive properties. Makes me sick.

Well, today in my efforts to quit smoking I bought a pack of cigarettes. Yes, I know that is a horrible first step. My second step was to promptly have a cigarette up on the patio during my morning briefing at work… Ok, not on a roll here.

After a major guilt trip induced by thoughts of my wife, and my father both of whom would be really pissed of at me. I crushed the new pack of cigarettes, and slapped on another patch.

Going to make another go at this quitting thing. Wish me luck. I need it!
