Blah blah blah…
by Slack, on September 9th, 2002
So, today I feel like blah! Everything has turned grey, if that makes sense. The only thing for certain tomorrow is that the sun will come up (much too early), and my wife will still love me. While of course, that’s more than good enough, it’s quite the change for us.
I’ve applied for another supervisor position where I work, so hopefully with any luck I will be able to continue in the same vein of work without too big a pay cut. More importantly, I will hopefully be able to continue our health insurance. With everything going on in that realm it is quite important that we do.
Speaking of… Heidi has felt some “twinges” in her abdomen. Not sure if that is a good thing, but hey, it’s SOMEthing. Still about a week and a half until we find out if she is honest to goodness pregnant. Wish us luck, as having a baby would be something of a good thing for us on a number of levels. Might help my A.D.D. if I had a bambino to concentrate on. :)
Snow season doth approach. Soon I will be going into debt further to purchase my season pass for this years winter adventure. Greg will be trying the Black Diamond trails this season. For those of you out there who don’t know what a Black Diamond is, it is the second hardest slopes on the mountains. Gotta have mad skills and a pair of nuts the size of watermelons. I won’t comment further on that. At any rate, I will be happy to watch safely from the lift as he attempts to do battle with the mountain. I will be trying a Blue run for the first time this season, and that is more than fine for me. :)
