Beer has a strange effect on me at times. Unlike most normal human beings, beer tends to keep me up at night. So, after a nice time with my ex-coworkers at Nimbus — our local microbrew — I sit here staring at my computer screen not able to think of anything better to do than type into this journal.

Work is great these days. :) heh! Just had to say that. Wanted to see what it would feel like since for the last 5 years I haven’t been able to. Felt good. I hope I can say that in the weeks to come. The fear for my future is beginning to take hold of my world, and the ignorant bliss of unemployment is slowly slipping away. So far, I have NO leads, and the job in the mountains fell through… :) Well, I could apply to be a police officer… hahahah Yeah, I know. Monday I’ll start hittin’ the streets in search of a real job to pay the bills. Oh well. I think I’ll go play some Civ3 while I still can. ttyl.
