Look at me! No tubes!

So, as you can see, the big news is Rhys is off of oxygen. He came off late this morning and as of this writing is still doing fine. For a bit there it looked as if he would go back on oxygen as his stats were questionable. Though, they suspect it might be the leads giving bad readings… I don’t know. He didn’t look his best when I handed him off to mom before coming home. I won’t be dissappointed if he goes back on the canula, but I sure hope he doesn’t need to.

He’s sitting at 5 lbs 10 ozs today, and breast feeding is going much better. We’re both very happy about that. His reflux medicine was discontinued a couple days back and he seems to not need it anymore. We’ve spent time in the family room away from the monitors and the other “hospital” type influences. It was nice to sit on a couch and watch some tv as a family. :) A bit scary not having monitors, but still nice. It almost felt normal for once.

Hopefully very soon we will get to do that at home…
