As you can tell by the title of this article, we are now wireless in this house! It’s a damn shame that the only wireless device in this house is my work laptop, tho… Ugh…

Well, once we sell our land and get my motorcycle and Heidi gets her Mustang (or whatever she wants these days), THEN it will be time for new laptops! I can’t wait.

I started the wireless adventure by purchasing a really cheap (rebated) wireless router… I don’t need a router since I already have a wired router, but it came with a nic and was cheaper than getting a WAP and a NIC! Well, come to find later that it was cheap because the chipset it uses had this issue and that issue… Long story short, I never quite got it to work right… So, back to Worst Buy I went and forked over the dough for a WAP. Five minutes of setup found the house wireless! YAY!

In addition to becoming wireless, we’ve also inducted ourselves into the PVR age! Yep, we have a PVR now too!! YEEEE HAAAA. That means I can record BSG, Invader Zim, MotoGP, and other delights. :) All in all, a great day!! Yeee haaa!!!
