Happy belated Daddy Day to all the papas out there. Hope it went well for everyone. Mine was pretty damn good. Good food, got to game, spend time with Heidi, introduce Rhys to Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back, and got a nice stove top espresso maker. :) Not too shabby. :)

I’ve got most of my records moved over to Outlook in preparation for the new PDA. Talk about a pain in the ass. But, the new system will be better I think. Outlook has always surpassed Palm Desktop in functionality and flexibility. But, I have to wait till July 6th to get the new PDA!!! WTF, over!! This new PDA better be worth it!

I keep telling myself to write more in this damn thing, but there is just nothing to write about. Except maybe for the typical routine life has become. UGH!! There’s really nothing very newsworthy for either Heidi or myself. I suppose there’s a lot to be said about ‘No news is good news’, but, all things in moderation, folks!!

One week till Mexico. I’m sure there will be plenty of news from that party. It’s shaping up to be quite the bash. :) Hopefully we all make it out alive. ;) heh

So, a couple days ago my beloved PDA finally went into its death throws. It did so at around 2am by constantly rebooting and making that annoying startup sound… Of course, nothing I did could stop the fucker from sounding off. So I woke up, took it to the office and baby sat it while I tried to figure out a way to put it out of my misery. No removeable battery, non-responsive to reset and other button presses… During the process of trying to figure this out, it finally just quit.

Now, I know what is actually happening here. The batts were near death and a recharge would fix her right up, right? Well… Yeah. For the most part charging it back up did the trick… But, really it’s a lot like hooking up a corpse to a car battery just to get a bit of animation out of it. It might look alive, but it ain’t pretty. I decided to finally put the poor thing out to pasture with the other retired PDAs I’ve owned… I should have started a PDA Graveyard… damn.

So, old and busted: Zire 72. New hotness: Dell Axim x51v. My Zire was a good PDA. You’ll notice in the pic there’s a shot of the “Original Blue” version. That’s mine. Funny enough, by the end of its lifecycle it had turned into the new silver model. ;) hehehe Goodbye old friend. I’ll miss everything about you, except that GOD DAMN PIECE OF SHIT CAMERA!!!!

Ok, fuck this head med bullshit! The side effects are less than plesant and I’ve decided to come off this crap. My head just doesn’t go well with SSRI bullshit I guess. So, screw that! What exactly was the side effect that brought me to this decision? Let’s just say it’s uhmmmm… personal.. :)

In other news, I’m finally training up my battleship skills in Eve… cuz, you know, I’m a big dork! Yes, back in Eden, and gonna get my game on! Woot! See you fools in game!! :)
