Fabuloso Weekend

by Slack, on October 10th, 2006

So, yes, as the title suggests, this past weekend was absolutely awesome! Wow, where to begin? I honestly don’t even remember what I did on Friday night. I got home late as usual — thanks for the lovely lovely shift, Spacely. Oh yes! I remember, Heidi had a bit too much vodka, and we crashed early… So, ok, the “great” weekend didn’t start Friday night…

Saturday I went and got an oil change for the bike from the good ol bastards at Tucson Motorsports. This time, they didn’t overfill the case and actually washed and detailed the bike. I’d be totally excited about that, except for they are still making up for being … well… bastards. But, it was a good experience overall since I got my bike rideable again and can sign up for some two-wheeled therapy here soon. :) Oh, and it’s cooling off. I think I might just have to ride to work tomorrow. :) YAY!

Well, after that, one of Heidi’s best friends, Bobbi, came into town to visit. We were celebrating her daughter’s 13th birthday. So, the gang headed out to Sakura once more to enjoy great food, and great tunes. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of Sakura. But, I could do with out the damn choo choo show (though, watching Rhys experience that for the first time was way cool). Also, I wish they’d get a band that could play my damn requests!! Come on!

Sunday, Heidi and I caught up on Lost and Battlestar Galactica. Lost, of course left me again in a huff at the ending. I hate loving that show sometimes. Battlestar on the other hand, was truly epic! So kewl! If you haven’t checked it out, you must! I do have a bit of bad scuttlebutt though. I heard today that NBC, the MegaCorporate fraktards who own Sci-Fi channel are talking about moving our beloved Battlestar to their flagship channel… That can’t be good news at all… I think they are all Cylons!

15 days of no smoking…that’s great, Hon. When are you going to take your good, old Mom to Sakura??

Love you,

Mom xoxoxo

Slack says:

I’ll take you out there soon, Mom! :) I promise!
