Tucson ‘Eat’ Yourself

by Slack, on October 13th, 2006

Ok, I’m so damn excited right now. Tomorrow is the Tucson Meet Yourself. It’s our little town’s version of a multi-cultural festival thing. I say that like it’s pathetic, but it really isn’t. The Tucson Meet Yourself, or the Tucson ‘Eat’ Yourself as it has been called, is a huge food and culture get together all weekend long downtown. I remember as a kid going there and hanging out with my buddy Jeff and our other friends. The kids could run around and have a blast playing downtown at Presido Park, and the grown ups could relax and chat over some good food.

Anyway, I’m excited about it, and I just wanted to share with someone. I’m gonna use it as one of my articles to get into SlashFood. I’d love to start writing for them! :)

Well, check out the TMY this weekend if you are in Tucson. I’ll be there with my family on Saturday — probably somewhere near the Filipino and Laotian booths. :)

Filipino…only one p, Hon. Supposed to rain today but have fun. Would love to hear from you about your outing.

Much love,

I always get that mixed up. :) I hope it doesn’t rain. :(
