I Miss My Family…

Well, Heidi’s been gone now for about a week… ONLY A WEEK!? It feels about 4 times longer than the entirety of the last time she left for Iowa… We’ve been talking everyday, and apparently they are having a great time out there. Apparently she is going to someone’s house who is hosting a thing with Barak Obama (hope I spelled that right), which is pretty cool. Not so much cool like a fast rollercoaster cool, but more like watching an ant farm cool…
Boy, my house is lonely without them around. Ok, it’s time for you to come home, honey!!! :) I miss you!
In other news. Friday night I took a friend from work out for his first soju experience. It’s my duty as a soju connoisseur to bring experienced drinkers into the brotherhood. It’s always fun to watch them scoff at the alcohol percentage, and then hear their story the next day. It usually goes something like this, “What happened after 8pm?” AHhh soju, how I hate to love you.
Ummm, I know you missed them, but BOY were we glad they came home for awhile!! I love to see how our grandson has grown..since we hadn’t seen him since DECEMBER lol.
We had a blast, a trip to Adventureland where Rhys and Molly were actually big enough to ride the rides and have a grand time. (no strollers this time)
Fireworks on the 4th, wide eyes and ooo’s and aaaa’s..it was neat.
Time to sit on the porch and visit with my girls, get to hear the stories about what they want to do and how much they all love their husbands (so you are safe there.)
