Quest For Code Mojo Part 3

…AAAAAaaand we’re back! Oh no! That annoying little twerp is going to bitch about Microsoft again, right? Wrong. I’ve got nothing but good things to say for this entry. I know! Good things about Microsoft, I can’t believe it either. ;) Just for the record, I’m not a Microsoft Hater, nor am I a Linux Fanboy, or aligned really with anything. I like things that work, damnit. All of the OS’s, IDEs, gizmos, etc all have their own personal quirks. You just gotta pick the one that doesn’t drive you completely nuts… Blah blah blah. ANYWAY.
So, I just wanted to take a moment to rave about the Visual Studio 2005 Debugger. It’s slicker than watered down owl shit. I don’t know about you guys, but when I was putting sites together with PHP, one of the worst parts about it was spending valuable time (which is a rare commodity for me) writing debugging pages… Pages that would break the program and display out variable names, etc… You know what I’m talking about.
For those that aren’t familiar, Visual Studio has this built into it, and oh my god is it sweet! You can break the site anywhere you want, and get a full readout of all local variables. Like I said, it’s slicker than owl shit. :)
All for now. Chat at you guys later!
Well, kiddo, slicker than owl shit is about the most descriptive terminology I’ve heard in a long time! Hope you don’t mind if I steal it at some point.
Love you,
Mom W
Don’t mind at all. I stole it from some other person too. :)
